I shortened boot to let Mike's fancy shifter show a bit.

Ooooo! Pretty wood and, coincidently, clock! I just tore mine out and am trying to figure out how to take the bezel off without breaking it in order to get the lens off.
I have to show the wife the shorter shifter, she's praised all you woodworkers but she hasn't seen the shorter shifter in a finished interior.

Re: Shift Knob
The shorter boot does make it look nice. I might have to do that. That dash is gorgeous. Did you buy that or make it?

Re: Shift Knob
Thanks. Denise made the dash, looks good, huh? I replaced the clock with an air/fuel ratio gauge. It's a narrow band that just hooks to the o2 sensor, so it's not terribly accurate. I did buy an Innovate Motorsports wideband setup for the '72, but have yet to try it.
