Photoshopped image of the setup/color scheme I want.
Doesn't have to be a later year. I'd actually prefer earlier - pre '76 to avoid CA smog tests.
Since I don't have an actual functioning car right now, this is all I have to work on.

I think RaceDave will agree with me that you have great taste. That looks sweet. I've always liked the two asymmetrical lines vs the two fat ones down the center.
My old architecture professor: "Symmetry sometimes."
Not sure where they are on this car, but I think I would try mounting something in the grill like racydave did.
(Sorry for hijacking your pics Dave. That's what you get for having such a nice looking car.)

Nice; but might I suggest that if you're going to the extent of filling in the front vent holes and the lower grill opening - you should also consider getting rid of the rectangular side lights as well. If you are required by law to have them, the small European circular version was much cleaner and in my opinion, complemented the car's lines better.
I agree, Curly. Early markers and early door handles too.

Funny how my Fiat looks like different colors in the pics. More like the last pic. Thanks. I have considered the stripes too, looks good! The lights are metal, mfgd by Billet, with 2 fillament bulbs. Try a motorcycle shop, or Cycle-re-cycle in Indy.
