Re: bumperettes
Maybe you should charge more than a dollar so you can afford heat in your garage. Isn't your wife ready to boot you out by now? It's been a looong winter!

Re: bumperettes
Brady, if the wive boots you out, now you have an excuse to heat the garage while you sleep there.
Re: bumperettes
If you only knew what my wife puts up with. She only gets half of the kitchen as it is.
She Loooooves me! She'd love me to clean the kitchen.
Since it's been cold out. We saved about $80 on the electric bill since I haven't been in the garage. Now she says I'm getting charged $80 a month to work in the garage.

I am the wife so if I need the diningroom table to build carbs, it's not a problem.
Or admire my beautiful new pistons on the kitchen counter:
The list goes on. Of course, it goes both ways. I have to be careful of finding parts in the freezer or oven when Ron's working on the racecar.

Re: bumperettes
Really? What did something like that cost if you don't mind me asking. I Polished my air intake. Now my new carb looks dull. I don't know if I should polish it too or just leave it alone. Good thing is that it's all apart. You have an awesome looking engine bay with the 40's to the custom timing belt cover. Need another pic! LOL

Re: bumperettes
It cost around $600 to $700 for both bodies. I had to completely disassemble them, including the shafts, then send them to New England Chrome Platers. This pic was taken when I finally got all the little pieces cleaned up, painted and reinstalled. My diningroom table was useless for 6 weeks and I threatened to end anyone's life that touched a single thing on it while I waited for the bodies to get back. I know they're aweful blingy, but I am, afterall, a girl.
