
I revisited the same area today and took another shot of the same location.

Nature has been busy and the weather kind to us. Many of the forest's burnt tree trunks have new green shoots and the sound of birdlife returning is most encouraging.
The colour is called 'Cherry Black Mica". It looks like a very deep purple/black in most conditions (especially out of direct sunlight), but in direct sunlight it has highlights of anything from a reddish purple to a Coca Cola brown.pope wrote:Curly, Thats a black Spider right?
