Jeff... F-150 if your going to use it for daily town driving with the occasional heavy tow or haul.
I have a expedition, based on 150 frame, and after having GM for many years, the exp. has stood up to 480,000 kms of logging roads and long distance commutes to the bush. If I was still in the buisness and needed another truck I'd get one in a heartbeat.
A friend flew from here to San Antonoio TX. to buy a Tundra from a dealer there(saved about $20,000) and drove it home towing a 32 foot para-sail boat he bought in Houston, he loves it,smooth and powerful but yet if you behave, great on fuel economy. Another at the fire hall loves his Tundra as well.
Another has the 08 150 and loves it,again if you behave with the go pedal,he says around 24miles imp. gal on the hwy.
Industry around here seem to prefer the F-350's then GM and very few Dodge.. the tranny's don't hold up but the cummins is a great engine they say, many have had to replace the tranny several times and not just the rams but Dakotas as well.
Wonder how many post were gonna get on this one
