Brady - because they're unidirectional, once mounted on the rim each tire can only go one one side of the car. I apologize for confusing you - on my Porsche, the front and rear tires are different sizes. So I can't swap them front to rear. But you could on the Spider, since all four would be the same size. My rear tires wear uniformly, so when they're gone, they're gone. But the fronts wear out first on the outside shoulder, so to prolong their lives I swap them left to right, by removing them from the rims. You needn't worry about this, unless you drive really hard - a lot.
