They all have that chrome spider on it. Including the shift knob.

I use the Rust-O-Leium version of this. Ushually, I hit it with a wire wheel really good, clean the area, spray that stuff on untill it turns black then prime with Rust-O-Leium primer then I use a spray on rubber coating on top of that.

I just use the spray stuff cauz it's easy. If their is a better product or procedure, let me know.
