does anyone know where to get a cloth top w/glass window
Does anyone know where to get a good cloth top with glass rear window. I would like to find one that gets rid of the little side windows. That would probably cost a fortune..
Re: does anyone know where to get a cloth top w/glass window
there was a company in Los Angeles making tops with glass rear windows, but they were very expensive. Not sure if they're still around or not

Although you may be able to find someone or some company willing to fabricate a top with a glass rear window, the problem you will have is that the top cannot be folded down. When you fold the top down the vinyl window folds in half on itself. The vinyl rear window also contains a compound curve, which helps to keep the other elements of the top tight, a flat rear window might cause other aesthetic issues.
I don't understand this question: "I would like to find one that gets rid of the little side windows." The side windows are glass and tuck into the body when the top is folded down. Are you thinking of a top similar to an MG design, where the side windows are also vinyl? I'm sure you could have a top like that fabricated, but it will not look anywhere near as good as the stock top.
The Fiat spider has one of the best convertible top designs. It looks good up or down, does not require you to get out and snap 20 snaps around the rear perimeter, and can be raised or lowered with one hand (hopefully not while you are sitting in the drivers seat).
Some cars like AC cobras, porsche 550 spyders, MG's, triumphs, and even Alfas all had poorly designed tops that when up look like a tarp or half taut tent, have all kinds of rods, snaps, and straps, however most of those cars were only ment to be drive with the top down/off anyway.

they make glass windows with a seam in the middle so the glass will fold. It's not rocket science

That glass didn't look like it had a seam in it.

The glass is smaller then my plastic windows.

Size is the key. if they make it as big as the vinyl... the top will no fold. unless is done like Mark said with a foldable glass... I dont know if I'll like that.
Boy I got one started here
I like the glass in the video it is just a little smaller it doesn't fold and looks really good I think I'll keep the side windows I think your right I was kinda lookin for the calfornia 250 look that car uses the fiat windshield and I think the bows also, it looks really good" I like the porsche 911 cloth tops also.
