Air intake plugs-Help??

Since you are running an electric choke and have no need of the water outlet I would seal the small water nipple hole on the rear of the water pump pipe (got MIG?) and block coolant outlet on the intake manifold. Makes for a cleaner look and the pre-75 spiders had this arrangement with the manual choke carbs.

What are the valve covers made of? Can it be Mig welded?
Does anyone else have a pic of what the cover looked like with the nipple removed and the hole mig welded with the cover polished? I don't want to make it ugly.

Valve Covers? Why would you want to weld up the valve cover? I was talking about the intake manifold and the water pump tube.

I have valve covers on the mind. I meant the air intake also. What is it made of and can you use a mig welder on it?

I was kinda thinking that you could have filled those holes with spark plugs. That woulda made some folks scratch their heads.

I tried sticking a magnet to the air intake and it doesn't stick. This is why I'm thinking I couldn't use a mig welder. Maybe a tig which I don't have.

Honestly I don't know what they are. I wanted an avatar but you can only have like 8kb's for an avatar so i went browsing the internet and everytime i saw a photo I clicked it to see how many kb's it was and that tire was the first one under 8kb's. Now its been so long that I assume everyone associates me with a big black tires so I decided to just leave it. I can stroll through the posts and spot myself pretty fast with that big tire. Sorry I can't help you.
