Hi Bruce, Thanks for sharing your pain. I am just about to step off the same cliff. A leaky pump which I reckon would become a gusher! A big "THANKS" to all who responded to Bruce's message - I appreciate it!

Jim - use the red permatex, don't tighten the bolts too much as it seems the aftermarket pumps have flimsy threads, and let the permatex set before you start the car.

I was really hoping to get to the job today. But when I awoke, looked outside and saw a dusting of SNOW - kinda took the wind out of my sails :-( Jim

Well, home from the Mainland, started the car up and took it for a bit of a run. Let the temp get up to where the fan kicked in -- NO LEAKS!!! Yay!!!
