brake hoses

i just got a set of front brake hoses and one hose is atleast 1 inch shorter(longer) than the other one. the fittings look the same, but the lenght is different. should i return them or keep them?

proper length is important, too short the hose may break at the limit of suspension travel, too long may cause the hose to kink or rub at full lock on the steering

Someone can confirm this, but i think the backs and fronts are different sizes. So you may have got one of each.

the rear hoses are real short, and the body to axle hose has different ends than the front hoses
