best source for vinyl top?
best source for vinyl top?
My '83 Pinin needs a new vinyl top. I'm looking for feedback as to whose product I should maybe be looking at and whose I should be avoiding. Any and all comments will be appreciated!

Check Robbins Tops if you want quality. If you can afford, go with cloth rather than vinyl. The PO of my car replaced with new vinyl or I would have done cloth, I will when this one wears out.
I have cloth on my Miata and it's far superior for warmth and flex especially in the cold weather and with car will last much longer.

Re: best source for vinyl top?
My fiat has been in my family since new and has been through 5 tops in 30 years. All the tops were vinyl except the last one i bought 8 years ago. The car was in cold climates until i was stationed in Florida. Every vinyl top was damage in the same place, the back window would crack in the cold weather. Canvas is much quieter and looks much better. Canvas will stain easier but will hold up to the weather much better than vinyl. My fiat is a garage queen now and is treated like royalty. But it all comes down to personal preference. Check with world upholstery they carry tops, boots and carpet.
