different speedo?

Post by samthedog »

After my performance build is finished my car will well exceed the speedo in my car.
Are there replacements that loook the same as the rest of the dash, only have higher numbers?

There are speedos that goto 140 mph from early fiats I believe.
I'll have a look and see what I have downstairs. I went to kms here in Canada.
edit.. there is a 69 being parted out below

Please let me know if you have one that will fit my 72.
My guages are already a little screwed up,and need replacement anyway I think.
Have not yet got that far with my restoration. But will be very soon.
Thanks

Your 72 should already have the 140 mph speedo. If Narfire doesn't have one, I've got a few.

Some of the speedos and tachs were deep face while others were shallow face, verify with a picture with the seller before buying. I believe all the deep face speddos and tachs were the 140mph version.

What do you have in there now, the 80mph version?

Your 72 should have came with a 140mph version, the 80mph version did not start until 79.

I also have several deep and shallow face 140mph speedos and various other gauges if Narfire or Denise does not.

The guages in this car have been changed, and not correct and are in need of replacement.
Will get to it before the car goes to Jon to have the motor installed.
I need to make more progress on the body before getting to the interior.
Plan to do the dash and interior last, after paint.
