Opening doors

My dream with a car like this is to never open the doors -- hell, as far as I care the door is broken. You've got to hop over the door and land perfectly in the seat.

I've always used the standard, left hand, back hand method. It has alway been awkward. I have a set of coupe handles that are black plastic with a longer reach and a big flat on the end. I'm thinking of trying those to see if they are easier.
