I spoke with Vick's Autosports today,and they couldnt have been nicer or easier to deal with.I was worried because the calipers had been purchased in Feb.I informed them they hadnt been on the car for long,and very few miles.They said"No problem,its a warranty issue and they would ship me a new one immediately" They trust me to send the bad unit back,no new core or shipping. They apologized for not seeing the heli-coil,although the way it was wrapped there is no way they would have been able to catch it.
I saw that Vick's got a bad rap earlier this year for firing a well known employee.All my dealings with them have been great,and Bob and Jeff couldnt be more helpful. I will continue to use them as my primary supplier.And....I promise not to post anything else on the computer when I am frustrated and covered in brake fluid !!
