that repair was actually a customer pay job, insurance and his pocket paid the bill. what i can remember we charged about 5,000.00 for that job, including an allover paint. and a front suspension rebuild.

Impressive, I've had a 72 in the shop since last October for much the same treatment,was hoping to have it out and sorted by now though. (my Franken-Fiat)
What was the time frame in this case? bet it was'nt 8 months.
Price wise,similar to what mine will be.
Was this a florida car? I'd guess not with the rust that you found .

Thats just crazy!!! I thought replacing my shock towers was a pain. Good job on the fix and glad someone has enough cash to keep it alive.
