what i am asking what would be consider a bumper? other then the original
Wow, does anyone have a pic of that done to their car? I would love to see that. Those tubes do kinda stick out there. I wonder if the inspiration came from the old 70's sytle football helmets with the two face barsnarfire wrote:Several have kept the tube bumpers but have drilled a hole in the shock, drained the oil and pushed the bumper closer to the car and then drilled and bolted in place.
i think they pass for bumper . but i better check before ordering any thing81SPIDERMATT wrote:i am curious if the bumperettes would qualify as bumpers..... original poster is looking to satisfy a law about bumpers... just a thought.... i also tucked in my tube bumpers and thought it was a lot better look than them sticking out.... it lasted about 4 months then i removed them and it would take a law to make me get them again.... retro bumpers are the way to go if i had to do it.... but i dont so bumperless i will stay.....
yes please. that would be great to seeNJFIAT1981 wrote:Hi Jim,
I'm partial to the early bumpers and early directionals. They look great. Want some pics?
