Would like to know which color wire goes where like if the green with yellow stripe go in the front closer to the water neck or in the far back sensor closer to the firewall.
Thanks guys!

Thanks i've seen this video thats how i was able to locate which sensor went were but in the video they don/t say nor show which color are the wires connecting to which sensor, was hoping someone who has recently been under there hood could remember or tell me by looking at there's.4uall wrote:This should help![]()

My green/yellow is closest to the firewall
Lol yeah i'm learning the hard way of these color coded Fiat wires same with the Carburetor Idle Solenoid wire color some have Blue wire and then i've seen some with Pink wire also seen some with 2 wires running into one that runs the Carb Start/Stop Solenoid Wire Color.bradartigue wrote:Water temperature sending unit = green/white or green/yellow or green
Engine overheat warning switch = gray/black or white or green/black
To make things really annoying, the green/white may be green/yellow because it changes half way through the harness, and on a lot of cars it just goes all the way through green/yellow. On early cars the wiring diagram shows white (blanco) to 53, the overheat switch, but I don't think it is white, mine was green and black (overheat) and green (sending).
