C6 Corvette Seats

Post by Integrale »

Just finished installing a set of seats from a C6 Corvette. Removed the seat from the motorised base and used universal seat sliders. I have not noticed any loss of headroom. https://photos.app.goo.gl/HRi8mxpSsupRyCBi8

Gary, those look very nice. Other than the universal sliders and removing the motorized base was there any fabrication involved? Cutting, welding, drilling etc? People searching for replacement seats that are bolt in and don't sacrifice headroom seems to be a recurring theme.

+1 on the universal type of universal sliders and change in headroom details. i will be either re-upholstering existing seats or upgrading to new seats for my old an back.
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!

Moto obscura has brackets to fit procar seats. I've not used them.

Had to drill holes in the seat base, which is aluminium angle. Universal brackets should bolt strait up to the fiat mounts, mine were Sparco brand. I lost the ability to adjust the seat back angle due to interference with the slider and with the lever it would be too wide. You can still fold the seat forward to access the back, there's a little lever on the seat back for that. The slider adjustment bar was a bit too narrow, so I had to cut the bar and weld in a spacer.
