Re: Volumex going over 160 km/hr
It's nice to see that car running so smooth at that speed. I have a modified 82 spider 2000 and on the few occasions I've taken it over 100 MPH or 160 KPH it is loud and moving with the wind back and forth. I hit 180 kph and thought I better slow down before I'm no longer a part of this world. Your car is smooth and sounds great.
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!

Re: Volumex going over 160 km/hr
These engine love to rev. I had a driveline vibration issue in my '69 spider, where the driveshaft would vibrate at around 75 mph. So, finding myself on open Arizona and Nevada highways, I choose to drive faster to avoid the vibration and ended up averaging about 100 mph for 4 hours. The engine did fine, and apparently loved it. That would be 6000 to 6500 rpm for 4 solid hours. 400 miles in 4 hours, with one stop for gas. Die Polizei were not around that day.
