Hi
and welcome! Is this one of the last chrome bumper models? Any pics are welcome!
Is your car already listed in the worldwide Spider Register? Easiest way to find out is a seach by chassis or serial number (no VIN before model year 1981). Because cars from DC have sometimes licence plates from Virginia or other states around I just can't check for myself, but this is the list for Spider from DC:
https://www.fiatspider.de/register?Fahr ... on%2C+D.C.
Enjoy your new play toy and the summer!
Cheers Ralf

Welcome! There is a local DC group you might not have found yet. We do meetups/rides several times a year in the area. Look at website DCFiats.org and go to the "events" tab. There is a drive followed by a Pig Roast BBQ this weekend even.

Welcome! Following on Waldo, the group is a great way to comradely with other Fiat owners…and exchange Fiat’s joys and frustrations.
On the personal, if weather allows it, I’m usually at Katie’s Coffe&Cars in great falls, VA. It happens every Saturday mornings…for participants in nice weather season, really early, like 5:30/6am early…if you want to display your car on the main drag. Event must end by 9am cuz of shopping center’s tenants. Usually a great crowd and plenty of cars to droll over.
Look for a silver 124 with red interior…that’ll be me!
