Rear Compensator Brake Lines

Post by vsurg »

I am making all new brake lines and do not know which hole to replace the master cylinder line and the rear brake line into. The choice is the front or the back.

The shop manual (impressionist…) picture looks as though the MC line goes to the back one and the rear line goes to the front.

Anyone for sure?

I have several diagrams, all equally nebulous, but they all seem to show that the line from the master cylinder to the compensator (when installed) is closer to the rear axle, while the line from the compensator to the rear brakes is further away. In other words, MC line is lower and rear brake line is upper.

If you PM me with your email address, I can send you a picture from the shop manual.
