I am having a difficult time finding the proper cap and rotor for my distributor. I have purchased 2 of each and returned 2 of each and I still cant find the proper part. Is there a distributor model number somewhere that I can cross reference to the cap and rotor? I did find a casting with some stamed letters on the side.S144 was cast with a C stamped next to that and a B 1 stamped above the S144. Is this it?
The car is a '71 with a 1600 and a head mounted distributor. (at least as far as I know)
