I was going to take the fiat out tonight, but again smelled gas.
Left it running and snooped around under the hood. Could'nt see anything dripping/spraying.
Ran my finger under the fuel line, nope, cold start, nope.. checked the injector lines... yeup. They were still the originals with the little saucer fittings and sure enough two were wet.Damb, I have replaced dang near everything on the car but not those.
Right below is the starter, not a good combo. I have fresh injectors and another rail so I'll be swapping it out tomorow.
Just a friendly heads up, a check every now and then could prevent a fire.

Re: smelled gas
many a Spider has burned down from a leak above the starter, best to fix it right away
Re: smelled gas
Just had a leak above my starter, turned out that the nut which secures one of my injectors had come really loose. Tightened it back up and the leak went away. My starter looks a little scorched too, so I might have gotten lucky.
