The car only has 200 miles, so I tried to keep the rpm under 4000, but even that way the acceleration is amazing. Once it's broken in and one can use the full rpm range I'm sure it will be like being shot out of a cannon!
I think testers have gotten 0-60 mph in ~4 seconds!
It only comes with an automated dual-clutch gearbox that has several modes, Jeff can explain it better, but I drove it in manual mode, where I had to shift it with the paddles. Hearing it shift is pretty near, sounds like a race car every time!

This really is a race car for the street, it has pretty much no sound insulation, and one can see a lot of the carbon fiber tub once the door is open. I believe there is no power steering, the steering is very direct and has great feedback. I'd love to try it on the track!
Of course it looks gorgeous, and all the mechanical parts like brakes and suspension are beautiful! The instrument cluster is fully digital, but it displays an analog tachometer and the speed in a digit readout. Other gauges will appear depending on what drive mode is selected. In race mode it shows a G-meter!
The car is just amazing... thanks for the drive, Jeff!
