Ralf is still posting on this forum, so if you send him a PM, he can likely tell you much more.

Hope this helps!
Ciao Ralf

PS: I would like to add your car to the Register. Can we get details and a picture? Thanks in advance!

Hi, many thanks for that now the complicated bit to prove it is! I have all documents but our system is far more complicated than the Spanish even. Will send details soon and pictures of car. It’s a beaut.
Regards Terry. :)

Hi all apologies for not getting back sooner. Many thanks for info . Unfortunately still awaiting DVLA confirming correct year manufacture. Hope to hear soon. On another note my 85.5 Pininfarina is obviously on 2.0 fuel injected. Does anyone know Igor the E10 fuel now being widely used in U.K. is okay to use. Many thanks Terry

Hi
from a german Spider forum:
Quote: "Apparently, ethanol not only attacks rubber, but can also form any salt under high heat, which attacks aluminum. So the cylinder head. This is an irreversible process that can be initiated after a single refueling. Emphasis on "can" - this certainly depends on one or the circumstance. Probably E10 is not the first choice for the Spider..."

I take the usual E5 fuel, E10 is not my choice: not for the Spider, not for the daily car!

Bye Ralf
