My friend and garage mate has a 2017 that won't start. It sat for a month or so and he assumed the battery had gone flat so he bought a "digital" charger and charged the battery (I don't think he disconnected it from the car)
The battery is fully charged now and has proper amperage while trying to start the car but the motor will not crank.
Has anyone experienced a phantom non start like this? The car has under 10k miles...
thanks
non start issue

Re: non start issue
What happens when he tries to start it?
Proper amperage? Proper voltage perhaps?
Bad battery would still be my bet. Have you tried a jump start from a running car?

Re: non start issue
There was proper amperage on the starting attempts yes. A jump is a good idea I will run it by him. Thanks
