Why I am not working on the car .......

Not doing much to the car this year...... and here is why....
The first photo, if you could stand in side and look up during the day you would get a rendition of Van Gogh's Starry Night with all of the holes in the roof . Old roof is 30 pus years old and pitch was catching all of the leaves from the tree dis mantled in the foreground.


So It was time to do something about that.


All this started Memorial day weekend with the help of my son Peter (pwilliam here) and son-in-law Nathan


As of yesterday, 1/3 of the driveway side of the roof is shingled


The goal is to have it finished before winter. HA!

Pete, the shed on the side is for the lawn mower and assorted lawn tools. I'm trying to have the garage be just for the cars.

I think it's supposed to be "build garage, park car in it", not "park car, build garage around it".

SHHHHHH, That's the spare car. The real one is out in the driveway at the moment.

Finished the short side of the roof this weekend Now at least that side is dry. I will start the longer side next weekend. Hopefully end of August to finish of the roof. I like doing my own projects, but at nearly 60 I remember at the end of a long weekend why I opted for a professional office job.

Very Funny Pete. I was thinking that myself but wouldn't you know it; it rained last night for about 40 min at around 2:00 am and we had to go around and shut all the windows.

Love the idea of a large walk in mower shed attached to the garage. I've built so much storage and shelves I have to back the car out of the garage to get to the 6 X 6 nook where the lawn equipment is stored in the back.

I like your workbench/storage in the shop. What color of red is that?

Don't really know what color red that is. Original car was white and someone did a re-spray before I got it.
