Bumper jacks and bumper hole blanks

Okay, finally almost 6 months later, after making the 1st set of brackets. I have them finally installed my bumper jacks for good ! reasons it took so long

1. didnt know there was a issue with the 1st brackets till the car was on the road.
2. getting the car on the raod 1st before working on another project.

the 1st set was made of steel. and bent side to side easy when bumped with knee. ( i know I will be crying in the future when I hit my knee on the new ones). but i can know jack my car up from them if needed .made from stainless square tube. utilizing the stock bracket. just replacing the vertical bracket and bumper shock with square tube. finally showing off my bumper hole blanks .

COOL! Shelby cobra style.. I like it! I thought about doing that. I just couldn't visualize it.

Thanks let me know i can give you the place where i got the bumber jacks from. if you use 1" stainless square tube for the bracket and the mount works great

they come a set of 4 but not sure i like the way they look on the back. So im am still looking for other ideas and may sell my other 2 bumber jacks. I will keep you posted on what i come up with

yeah I wouldn't like those on the rear that is why I asked... but for the front very cool... and nicely executed installation BTW!

thank you. It may be what i do for a while till i figure out the rear. Havent seen anything i like yet. Think i get me some wood and start carving soming out than put some chrome decal over to see if i like it than get some aluminum and work that to copy the wood.but currently no idea

I have a machinist buddy who operates a waterjet cutting table... He is cutting bumper blocks to fit the square openings on my '72 out of solid 3" thick aluminum. However i like the option of having the bumper jacks lik you have for the front. and do my bumper blocks for the rear..
