Grease for E-brake actuator on rear calipers

Post by s990wg3 »

Does anybody know what is the best type of grease to use for the E-brake actuator on rear calipers.

I'm rebuilding the calipers and I want to make sure I put the right grease on the shaft.

Thanks

A good wheel bearing grease should do. Something that can take high heat and is a little weather resistant will be good. That shaft only moves a small distance, and the majority of the grease is to keep the parts from rust welding toghether.

Thanks Matt
I was linking along those lines also, never hurts to get a second opinion though.
