Removing lower suspension bushings

Post by redek »

I have burned out my bushings (that was fun), and cant seem to remove the metal collar that surrounds the bushing. I would simply cut it out, but there is very little little room due to the captive lower pivot bolt. Am I missing something here?
Thanks

burned them out? I bet the EPA will be coming to pay you a visit if they can find your house through the black cloud around it! I drive out the entire bushing with an air chisel
