Re: blinkers and horn wont work
If the t/s light isn't blinking it sounds like you still have a bulb burnt out, interrupting the current. As far as the dim light, that sounds like a ground problem. It wouldn't hurt to clean all the spade connectors and grease them with dielectric grease.

Re: blinkers and horn wont work
ok, but i thought each side ran in series, not all the blinkers, and i have replaced all of the lights on the passenger side and still nothing. Are all of the blinkers connected at all? and if so, where, and what could cause them all to not work?
Re: blinkers and horn wont work
the turn signals are separated by each side. The only place they join is at the turn signal switch. The taillights and side marker lights are connected in parallel, not series. You're going to need a wiring diagram and a voltmeter to diagnose this trouble. The emergency flasher switch is crucial to the turn signals; the power goes through that and if it's not working the turn signals won't work either
Re: blinkers and horn wont work
thanks, that was extremely helpful. everything works now, but if i have the light switch in any position but off, my driver side rear blinker is very dull and some of the nother lights on that cluster will light up. just a wiring problem or more to it than that? the pass. side is a brand new cluster, so no probs there
Re: blinkers and horn wont work
if the lights dim and other lights come on dimly with the lights on, you have a bad ground on that side.

ahh, ok, i had disconnected a ground and i thought i had it hooked back up but the wire was frayed and almost broken. i'll fix it and see if that'll do it. thanks
