Congrats on the retirement. What a way to go in and back home on your last couple days. Now a ton of time to do some driving.
I've got a vacation week coming up and plan on getting the front done. also need to sort out a potential leak on top of head near the temp sensor. hoping some thread sealer fixes this.
Ran into an previous Fiat mechanic last week at Pep Boys; drove the Spider that trip since sons battery was dead and he had my truck.
Had a long conversation; great to see the sparkle in his eye when talking about this little cars.
Have a great retirement; your spouse can enjoy the ride so much more.
I'll keep the you all posted on my progress.

Progress:
Well, took apart the front. Crazy stuff you will find.
Drivers side: the upper bushings just fell out when I pulled the bolt.
also tie rod end: nut turns on the stud but does not loosen???? sawsall time

the sway bar is a PITA
the lowers: need to have the bushings swapped at a machine shop.
