Hello Everyone,
I am own a 1985 Pininfarina Spider that I got from my mom who was the original owner. I've want to drive the car ever since she got it. I thought I would get to drive it to my senior prom, but no dice. I found out later my mom wanted me to drive it but my dad nix it. Her logic was that I couldn't get in trouble on prom night in a two seater! So I ended up driving the family mini van. She keep it in her garage over the years so it is great shape. I had not been driven for 10 years prior to me getting it two year ago. I got the engine and transmission in good shape. Now I am working on the body and interior. I look forward to use all the tips and resources in this forum to get it done. I promised my mom we can go driving once I get it back to it's original form.

Hi Dreroman,
welcome on board! Sounds like you are a lucky guy! Complete history known and a one family car!
Is it a 85 or a 85.5 Spider with rack and pinion steering?
As you can see in the worldwide Spider Register, there are some DS series Spider in Ohio but only 2 cars from model year 1985:

It would be great to get your car data if your Spider is not already listed.
Good luck and have fun with your toy!
Bye, Ralf

You two Fiat! That is cool. I am looking for a good spot to get a basic paint job don on mine if you have any suggestion here in Cincy. I don't want full tear down. Just a refresh(no stripping if possible) with the dings removed. Let me know if you have a place.
