I'm slowly restoring my 1978 Spider and would like to buy new Fiat wheels for it.
There are several in the Fiat catalog that I like--just wondering what size is "too large"...
There are 14'', 15'', and 16'' that I like from current Fiat models--I figure 16'' is about the largest I could go--what are your opinions??
Thanks:
Michael.
Wheel size question
Re: Wheel size question
Doesnt the US Government publish a pamphlet on optimal wheels size? You are, after all from Pueblo, Colorado.
I would like to know if anyone went to 16" as 13 and 14 were stock and plenty have 15" rims.

Re: Wheel size question
LOL; they probably do, Pope.
That brick slab of a building out by our little airport cranks out tons of paper!
I am leaning most toward 14'' and 15''--I figured 16'' might be an outside...
My favorites are: 14'' alloys from the Panda, 15'' from the Doblo, or the 15'' from the Grande Punto (if I go for the Blue logo).

Re: Wheel size question
I can guarantee you that in the near future, with Fiat selling cars here, the options for wheels will multiply 100x. I am assuming that are keeping the 4 x 98 spacing.

Re: Wheel size question
i'v got 15" 100*4 with wobble bolts and no problems at all , the 100x4 wheels are a lot easyer to find and you have a lot more choise
