My father in law just called last night and said he made it back to the US after spending the last year in Afganistan in the Army National Guard. We're sure glad he's back and pray for the rest of the troops risking life and limb to do the same.
To all the courageous men and women of the armed services, Thank you for your service, this country owes you a debt of gratitude. Your efforts are not in vain.
If you see or know a service man or woman, please call them or shake their hand. Thank them for their service to our country.
We should never forget the sacrifice these men and women make for all of us to live a life of freedom.
As part of this, we should all try to do our part as well - whether it be large or small, we all owe some amount of service to keep our beautiful country and way of life FREE.
Appropriate for the holiday, my wife and I watched the movie Taking Chance. If you have not seen it, I would highly recommend it.
