Twin Weber 32/36

Post by kwil »

Hey Folks

I have a good lead on a pair of 32/36 carbs. Totally rebuilt and ready for action.
Anyone on here installed two of these to their spider? I have a 1979 2000.
If so what do I need manifold wise.
If 2 is a bad idea I know that I probably need a 76?? manifold.
If I go for only one I'll have one for sale!

Thanks

Kenny

will be interesting to see how you derive the throttle control. keep me posted, please.

if you are installing just one on your two litre, the "best" manifold would be off a 1756 engine, but you could get away with your stock intake...with some modifications.

Throttle control is the confusing part for sure.

they won't work unless you build an intake with a large plenum otherwise you'll be feeding two cylinders on 32 venturis, and two cyls on 36 venturis, plus those are progressive carbs, so two cylinders will get fuel while two will be idling until half throttle
