Re: Fiat Spider Options and feature price list
The factory options were few, most were dealer add-ons. Not sure if it was available in '82, but in the 1980-82 range two factory options were leather interior and turbo engine. There were dealer options like A/C, luggage rack, pinstriping, etc.
I believe by 1982 nearly all Spiders had 14" alloy wheels. By 1983 they definitely did.

Re: Fiat Spider Options and feature price list
In some years they sold the car as if it were available in two models; i.e. 1980 you could buy carbureted or fuel injected, but really it was because so many carbureted cars were left over. Same thing in the 1438/1608 changeovers. FIAT didn't follow a model year production run like they do now, or like USA manufacturers did, so features were introduced as the line evolved...
I think Csaba summed it up well...in later years you could get optional leather or an automatic transmission. Most things were dealer installs like a/c, pinstripes, door gaurds, luggage rack, rocker covers (that caused the rockers to rust), alloy rims (off an on, sometimes you could only get steel or alloy). I was told some cars shipped with a canvas top but I think they were all vinyl from the factory.

A while back I got ahold of an accessories catalog from Fiat Motors of North America, Inc. It shows a lot of what I would expect were dealer-installed accessories from around 1980 since the models highlighted include Brava, Strada, X1/9 and Spider 2000. These photos don't show all the pages, but mostly the stuff applicable to the spider.
