cannot find another spot to put this, so CUSTOM STUFF seems to be about the best place. welcoming other comments along the same lines:
last week i read at another forum a trick on how to remove stubborn brake line nipples. by chance or design i actually needed to put this tool trick to use myself last night. of course, i have the five sided flare nut wrenches, but we all know there are times when the connection is just rusted or too tight for even the "correct" tools. so, the tech tip was to clamp a set of vice grip pliers on the flare nut wrench to prevent it from expanding and slipping around the nipple.
it works! makes me happy that i'll prolly not need to replace this hard brake line (right front) after all.

Wish I knew that trick a little earlier. That's not to say it would have saved the hard line on my Lemons racer, but heck, who knows?

In frustration I have skipped the wrench all together and just viced the fitting I knew was going to be replaced
